Being an Island, we are known for our Islandhospitality and the friendliness of our people. The Charlottetown Cruise ShipAmbassadors are noticeable by their brightly colored vests and are able to assistpassengers with special needs, provide directions and visitor information. TheAmbassadors are strategically placed at the port to distribute cruise ship maps, which will help passengers, navigate throughoutthe downtown. Prince Edward Islands most popular character, Anne of Green Gables,is also located portside, along with Canada's well known and respected RoyalCanadian Mounted Police, forthatspecialphotoopportunity;alsoalocal fiddler and lively step dancers are always ready to entertain. The Cruise Ship Passenger Map (requires ) is especially tailored to the cruise ship passenger and crew and will be distributed by the Ambassadors upon arrival. This user friendly map fits into your pocket and offers city wide information. The map highlights attractions, restaurants, shops, and golf within the Charlottetown area. It also offers suggested itineraries including shopping, historic and waterfront routes. The map doubles as a souvenir of the destination. Upon arriving in Charlottetown, look for the Visit Charlottetown Pavilion that will be placed at the port.
